I wanted my model for my double page spread to have more a serious expression compared to my front cover page. My inspiration for this came from a double page spread from Marie Claire about Leighton Meester:

Font Changes.

Example:

The font that I chose for my front cover is: Bakery. I chose this one because it was quite modern yet it had a little bit of sophistication to it. I felt like this typeface represent the style of my magazine well.

Question 3: Use the internet and your initial magazine research to select one or two examples of media publishing companies that could print and distribute your magazine.

Contact sheet for front cover photoshoot

For my front cover, I wanted my model to show an expression of shock/surprise to mimic the content that is inside the magazine and a few 'non-surprise' photos as well. Once it came to editing, I lightened the photo using Brightness and Contrast, Lab Colour and Levels.
